Wandering around Brooklyn today, I stumbled upon a spectacular vintage stoop sale where I purchased not one but two stunning vintage hats. After a little research, I'm certain these date between 1939-1945, in other words during World War II.
I need to replace the netted veil on the first hat and repair the band that straps around the back of the head on the second hat, but other than that these are absolute perfection. I can't wait to wear these to a summer wedding or some other appropriate festivity.
